Education Sector Access Request Information

For users to be able to access Education Sector online services for your organisation, users will need to complete and submit an Education Sector Request form.

The Education Service Desk is available Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm.

Education Sector User Access Request:

To apply for a new Education Sector Logon User Account to access any of the Education Sector applications included in the list below for your organisation/s.

OR

To update your existing Education Sector Logon User Account details or your access to Education Sector applications included in the list below for your organisation/s.

School Applications:

  • e-asTTle - Online Assessment Tool for Teaching and Learning
  • NZQA SSE - Secondary School Extranet
  • PaCT - Progress and Consistency Tool

If you wish to apply for access to the above school applications then please refer to your school's EPA authoriser(s) as they have the ability to submit your access requests online. If you are not sure who your school's EPA authoriser(s) are then please contact the Education Service Desk on 0800 422 599 or at service.desk@education.govt.nz.

If you wish to become an EPA authoriser then you will need to complete the Education Sector Logon Provisioning Application (EPA) Authoriser Request (ESL10) form [PDF; 269KB] and have it authorised by your school principal.

  • NZQA TEOE - Tertiary Education Organisation Extranet
  • STEO - Services for Tertiary Education Organisations
  • TEC Shared Workspaces

If you wish to apply for access to the above tertiary applications then please complete the Education Sector Tertiary Application User Access Request (ESL 02) form [PDF; 270KB].

Education Sector New Authoriser Request:

Your organisation’s CEO or equivalent (e.g. School Principal) can delegate responsibility to you to approve access requests to Education Sector online applications for the employees at your organisation.

Simply complete and submit the applicable Education Sector Authoriser Request form: 

Important Note: only use a Delegated Authoriser request if the CEO or equivalent wants to delegate the responsibility to you for approving and signing-off access requests to Education Sector online applications for the employees at your organisation. 

Education Sector User Deletion Request:

Remove Education Sector users access to Education Sector applications for your organisation/s.

For e-asTTle External Coordinators:

Contact the Education Service Desk on 0800 422 599 (option 4) or service.desk@education.govt.nz to request an access form.

For Attendance Service Application (ASA) Users:

Contact the MoE Resourcing Contact Centre on (04) 463 8383 or e.admin@education.govt.nz for advice on how to get access to this application. 

For Early Learning Information (ELI) Users:

Contact the MoE Resourcing Contact Centre on (04) 463 8383 or e.admin@education.govt.nz for advice on how to get access to this application. 

For School Transport Resourcing Administration System (STRAS-R) Users:

For TEC Industry Training Register (ITR) Users:
